It’s not even the end of March and I must say…it’s been a really good year for reading so far.
I’m currently 24 books into the annual Goodreads reading challenge, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed so many stories from various genres.
Tomorrow night our book club will be discussing Kristin Hannah’s latest The Women, which made me tear up at least twice. Without veering into dreaded spoiler territory, I can’t recommend it enough. Like the best novels do, Kristin put me smack dab in the middle of a world I would’ve never experienced otherwise.
In addition to The Women, here are a few novels I’ve also enjoyed below…
Some had phenomenal characters, while others had spectacular twists of plot. A couple had premises I wouldn’t have considered otherwise, while some provided some much-needed belly laughs. I’ll let you figure out which books fall into which categories. 🙂
The Heiress by Rachel Hawkins, Blank by Zibby Owens, Keep Your Friends Close by Lucinda Henry, A Love Song for Ricki Wilde by Tia Williams, Lucy Checks In by Dee Ernst, The Teacher by Frieda McFadden, Come and Get it by Kiley Reid, The Fury by Alex Michaelides, and First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston.
I’m currently reading The New Couple in 5B by Lisa Unger and really enjoying it, too!
