I can hardly believe it’s been a year (!!!) already since Will and I visited France, Monaco, and Italy for a little over two weeks. I’ve been scrolling through pics and can still hardly believe all the breathtaking places we encountered along the way.
So naturally when it’s approximately 9,342 degrees and crazy humid in Texas, an escape is just what you’re looking for. And one of the incredible things about it being summer book season is there are so many getaways available.
Here are a few recent favorites—the sort of stories where the author whisks you away somewhere exciting (no passport required)…
*Every Time I Go on Vacation Someone Dies by Catherine Mack
* The Paris Novel by Ruth Reichl
* The Heirloom by Jessie Rosen
*Â The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine
* The Paris Widow by Kimberly Belle
* Swan Song by Elin Hilderbrand
* Seven Summer Weekends by Jane L. Rosen
* Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez
